The Foundation for Portland Public Schools is looking for Casco Bay, Deering, Portland High, and Portland Adult Ed graduates that you think deserve recognition. The Distinguished Alumni Awards recognize PPS graduates from a wide range of professions and life experiences. The awards will be presented at our annual event, Spring for Teachers, on May 6, 2026. Last year’s winners included an internationally-renowned opera singer, a new Mainer who found her community at Portland Adult Ed, a healthcare professional and affordable housing advocate, and a Deering alum who came full circle and now teaches science and forensics at her alma mater!
