The Distinguished Alumni Awards recognize PPS graduates from a wide range of professions and life experiences. The awards will be presented at our annual event, Spring for Teachers, on May 6, 2026. Last year’s winners included an internationally-renowned opera singer, a new Mainer who found her community at Portland Adult Ed, a healthcare professional and affordable housing advocate, and a Deering alum who came full circle and now teaches science and forensics at her alma mater!
