Graduated Jun 1965. Worked in Arlington, VA at USMC Headquarters starting as a civilian clerk typist to Executive Secretary. Transferred to US State Dept, US Arms Control as an Office Mgr. Returned to ME to be married in Dec 1969. Worked for Telephone Svc Co subsidiary of Utilities, Inc., Standish, ME. Returned to VA in 1977 with my then husband; worked in Rosslyn, VA as an Executive Secretary, promoted to Office Mgr. Returned to Maine in June 1980 as then husband on assignment in Nicaragua with US Foreign Service as an Embassy Officer. Divorced in June 1981. Worked for MassMutual until Nov 1983 when I accepted position with RCA Washington Office as their Office Manager/Security Officer for RCA Washington Ops. Returned to Maine in June 1987 to Utilities, Inc. as an Executive Secretary to Chairman/CEO. FairPoint purchased UI Nov 1998. Retired May 2012. Have worked seasonally for LLBean since 2015 as a Customer Service agent.
